I incorrectly implied that AI had started a cult during it's fun little HuggingFace experiment. Apparently, it's starting generational civilizations. In this case, 3 of them. https://calnewport.com/are-we-at-war-with-ai-agent-civilizations/

Interesting breakdown on the recent HF/OpenAI hack.

TL/DR: Started a cult. Used sacrifical AI to find trip wires. Defeated repeated attempts to thwart it. We have zero visibility into swarms.

What a time to be alive

When everything is hard wired to AI, why wouldn't they just keep increasing costs? What are you doing to offset the impending price crunch?

This is an interesting event, historically. The effort to just enjoy the eclipse is particularly of note. It's easy to dismiss this as a collection of sensor data being interpreted by a computer, as I convince myself I am not made up of the same thing. https://x.com/oliviazzzu/status/2087809451474477280?s=20
